Venkat Subramaniam is the founder of Agile Developer, Inc., and has been working with .NET since its pre-release Beta 2. He has used it extensively on commercial projects
for his clients and has offered several courses on developing applications using .NET. He has trained and mentored more than 3,000 software developers in the United States, Canada, and Europe. He speaks frequently at software development conferences.
Venkat is also
an adjunct professor for the practice of computer science at University of Houston and
teaches at Rice University's School for Continuing Studies. He holds a B.S. in
computer engineering, an M.S. in electrical engineering, and a Ph.D. in computer science.
He is the recipient of the 2004 UH Computer Science Department Teaching Excellence award.
He is the author of the books .NET Gotchas, Practices of an Agile Developer. and Groovy Recipes (Pragmatic Bookshelf.)
